Chadwell Heath Murder last night
Jesus H. all over stolen fucking moped? Anyone know the family!?

Murder investigation launched as son dies following Chadwell Heath double stabbing

A 27-year-old, named locally as Ricky Hayden, was stabbed alongside his father in Gibbfield Close, Chadwell Heath, yesterday morning

A murder investigation has been launched after a man was stabbed alongside his father by a gang trying to steal a moped from outside their house.

A 27-year-old, named locally as Ricky Hayden, had been rushed to hospital with “life-changing” injuries yesterday morning but was pronounced dead last night.

Police were called by the London Ambulance Service to Gibbfield Close, Chadwell Heath, at about 1.25am to find the man with his 46-year-old dad suffering with a number of lacerations and stab wounds.

The family had been woken up by a noise outside the house and rushed out to find a group of up to four men trying to steal their moped.

The men then produced large knives and attacked the pair before running off without the vehicle.

Officers know the identity of the deceased, but await formal identification with a post-mortem examination to be held in due course.

The 46-year-old man remains in hospital, but his injuries are not life-threatening.

Two men were arrested in the early hours of this morning on suspicion of murder.

Both remain in custody at an east London police station.

Security worker Nicola Bennett, 38, of Woodshire Road, Dagenham, worked alongside Ricky at Epsom racecourse and a number of nightclubs.

“I still can’t believe it, I’m in shock, everyone is,” she said. “Ricky was a genuine bloke and would do anything for anyone.”

Skip driver Danny Massow, 46, of St Andrews Avenue, in Elm Park, worked alongside Ricky at wastewater and drainage contractors Lane for Drains.

“He was always flashing a smile or a laugh, I didn’t know anyone who had a bad word to say about him,” he said.

“Whenever you saw him it wouldn’t just be a handshake, he would always give you a big man-hug.

“There was always plenty of banter at work and he would always be right at the centre, giving it out and taking it.

“He was just a great guy and I’m absolutely devastated for his family.”

Friends have also been paying tribute through social media.

Kosho, in South Street, Romford, posted a picture of Ricky on Facebook last night with the words: “You always will be in the thoughts of Kosho Team! Rest in peace!”

A special night, ‘Dance for Ricky Hayden’, is set to be organised at the bar for Sunday night with all money raised to be given to his family.

Tracey Forever-Groom posted on Facebook: “Rest in paradise Ricky thinking of your family and wishing Mr Hayden a speedy recovery.”

Caroline Wood wrote: “So very sad another young life gone. RIP RICKY.”

Emma Doolan posted: “Such a shame and a sad way for a life to end.

“Hope the dad makes a full recovery and whoever done this is caught.

“Thoughts to the family now having to deal with a loss.”

Reminds me of the time when cartman fed Kyle his minced family in front of radio head so that he would cry and they would laugh at him.

I think what needs to be done to little wankstains like this is have their role-models publicly dis them in front of everyone they feel should respec' dem.

They're clearly way over the edge already so it won't be a case of provocation. Their lives matter, yeah, bruv?

Or force them to listen to Showaddywaddy's greatest hits on a continuous loop at full volume.

Spot on.

Absolutely heartbreaking that picture today in the paper of the lad lying in hospital with his sister.

Words can't describe what that poor family must be going through.

I'd line everyone of those fucking savages up against the wall and blow their fucking legs off.

Got a feeling it's the little cunts that ride around collier row and goodmayes on mopeds, the little cunts have been about for a while, they are nicking bikes, mugging people, filling up and driving off at petrol garages etc, see em on the road all the time, the old bill are too scared to chase them incase they crash and die, there's a video of them on Facebook angle grinding the locks off a bike and pushing it away in lakeside, someone needs to take the cunts out.

Before his death the son's leg had to be amputated in hospital following the severe injuries he had sustained.

Black lives matter but it seems a lot of them are happy to ruthlessly take someone else's over something as small as a moped.

This country is fucked.
